Ammon Bodilys

This last week has been busy, I had a whole list of things that I wanted to get done during my week long spring break, while my kids were still in school. I am ashamed to say I only got about three things done.

Jessica had a friend staying with us the whole weekend, then she ended up staying the whole week, now she is staying indefinately. She has been living with a young family, and they have not had the experience of living with a teenager. From my perception of talking with the other family, there was not much communication that went on there.

So....Meet Karina Mansilla, our new daughter. She is a very sweet girl, everyone of us really enjoy having her with us. She moved to the United States when she was eleven years old with her mother. Karina was baptized about 4 years ago, and has just recently(past year) become active. She will be recieving her YW medallion probably on Sunday, in her old ward. Her and her mother do not get along. Her mother married an illegal alien, and that is about all I know about the marriage. Her mom wanted her to do homeschool, and work in the potato fields. Karina wanted to get a diploma, her mom got mad at her and kicked her out of the house. That is how she came to live with the other family. She lived with them for five months. It is a long story, so it will have to be told at another time. Because she has been moved around so much, she is going to the alternative school to get enough credits to graduate at the end of the summer.

We have just begun our season of dance competitions with Jessica, this is her and a little girl that she has taught a solo to for the past two years. Her mom and Dad just sold their house, so they will be moving back to St. George, so this was Jessicas last year teaching her (She will have more). She teaches dance and gymnastics at the studio that she dances at. This picture was taken this weekend at the Logan Dance Competition. She placed 4th in her solo, and her team got two 1sts and one 2nd place. They did a really super job. This next Saturday we compete in Malad.

Well, that is it for now, I will have to get more pictures.
